St. John’s N.S., Breaffy

The school is situated beside Breaffy Wood, two miles east of Castlebar on the main Castlebar- Galway road. There are 435 pupils on the rolls. This is a mixed school catering for pupils from infants to sixth class. There are twenty-six teachers, two SNAs, a secretary and a caretaker.
